Thanks to its expertise coming from its activity in dynamic test benches, SEREME developed a measurement and analysis methodology in the field of acoustic and vibration. This methodology is proposed to customers who need to solve problems related to acoustics and vibrations.

This activity consists in :

• initial acoustic and vibration behaviours of new test benches, or the acoustic and vibration characterisation of existing test benches in order to determine their upgrading capabilities.
• acoustic and vibration measurements prior to the installation of machines sensitive to the vibration environment. If necessary, we propose the relevant adaptations, so that the very strict environment requirements of some materials can be met.

SEREME proposes the following on site services :

• acoustics and vibration measurements
• analysis : SEREME carries out the identification of the origin of vibrations disturbing machines, such as high precision microscopes.
• corrective treatment: SEREME uses its expertise in vibration and acoustics to propose corrective actions.
• before the installation of new machines, SEREME carries out a prediction of the acoustic and vibration levels, by analytical calculation and/or by finite elements calculation.
